This video contains 5 simple drills that will help you improve your game. Whether you are a professional or amateur ball player, these drills will keep your game on-point (if practiced 4-5 days per week). Follow the description below:

-WARM UP YOUR ACCURACY:
Shoot the ball (with perfect shooting form) against the side of the backboard while aiming for the center. It should come right back to you if you hit the center, and you shouldn’t have to move your feet.

-DRIBBLE WALK:
Dribble the ball through your legs while walking in normal manner. Each step should be a bounce. Once you have done it forward, walk backwards while dribbling through your legs. Finally dribble & “pat your pockets”

-BOX DRIBBLING:
Make a combo move (on the bottom two cones) into a retreat dribble. Make these movements continuously at game speed for 30-45 seconds. Do this 4 times (4 sets). If you’re not winded after this drill, you didn’t go hard enough. And shame on you!

-SPIN OUTS / REVERSE PIVOT:
Spin the ball out to yourself, take 2 dribbles before pulling up for a jump shot. Make sure to pivot low & aggressive. Always hold your follow through on your jump shot.

-REVERSE PIVOT / JABSTEP / STEPBACK:
This is a progression from spin outs. Make sure to keep your pivot foot “planted” when making your jabstep. Try not to float when making your stepback move.

-BLOW BY DRIBBLE / PULL UP JUMP SHOT:
Make 1 quick & low move when blowing by any stationary defenders. Hold your follow through and make sure not to float when shooting the jump shot.

NOTE: One-Two Combos are designed to freeze the on-ball defender so the offensive player can create a “first-step” advantage. Every player should have these combos in their offensive arsenal. Dribble with a purpose, “less is more”

-ONE TWO COMBO / JUMP SHOT:
Notice the “Rhythm bounce” before the One-Two Combo, it is designed to hypnotize the defender before you freeze him with a combo.

-ONE TWO COMBO / PROGRESSIONS:
These moves are designed to get your shot off against QUALITY defenders in the game. Concentrate on quckness & change of speed in regards to rhythm.

-ONE TWO COMBO / MORE PROGRESSIONS:
These moves are designed to get your shot off against THE BEST defenders in the game. Concentrate on quckness & change of speed in regards to rhythm.
